Budsheets is a plugin solution for anyone looking to manage their finances better. It doesn’t require anything more than inputting a bank account number and it analyzes your past spendings and categorizes them for you. At it’s core Budsheets opens the doors of financial freedom and quality layout, years ahead of any of it’s competitors.
Background
Budsheets already had a logo and a color palette. But they lacked user-friendly webpages that would transition it from a rough-high-fidelity prototype to a full-fledged website in their field, embodied by pride and hard work. That’s where I came in.
Over the course of a few months I closely collaborated with the founder to breathe a new life into their branding identity and webpages, and to craft an experience that could ensure the recognition they deserve upon launch.
Following the delivery of this incredible project, I had the humble privilege of serving as it's Creative Consultant for the next six months. My role was to ensure the user-experience was optimal both from a UX perspective as well as a UI. The collection of work that follows is a peek at the creative journey I shared with Budsheets.
Working on the Budsheets project provided a rewarding opportunity to shape the user experience for a financial budgeting plugin. By designing both the responsive website and mobile counterpart, I was able to create a cohesive, intuitive, and visually appealing interface that caters to users' financial management needs across different devices. This project underscored the importance of seamless integration between platforms, ensuring users can efficiently manage their finances anytime, anywhere. The feedback from stakeholders and users has been positive, highlighting the effectiveness of the design in enhancing usability and engagement. This project has been a testament to the impact of thoughtful and user-centric design in transforming complex financial tasks into accessible and user-friendly experiences.
